In these Terms and Conditions all references that are made to “us”, “we” and “our” are to be taken as Trust LED, a division of Energy SSP Limited.
By using our website, you agree to be bound by our Terms and Conditions as stated below.
Contract for the Supply of Products
The display of goods on this site amounts to an invitation to treat only and is not an offer to sell products or services at any price indicated. No contract for the supply of products or goods will be deemed to exist between you and us unless and until an email is sent by us to you confirming that your order has been accepted and payment has been successfully made.
This confirmation e-mail amounts to an acceptance by us of your offer to buy goods or services from Trust LED and this acceptance is effective regardless of whether or not you receive the e-mail.
We are free to withdraw from a prospective contract at any time prior to acceptance. This also applies in the case of any error or inaccuracy in respect of the goods or services, any description applied to the goods or services, the availability of the goods or services, or the order itself.
Price and availability information is subject to change without notice.
Processing of orders
Payment must be made in full via Paypal before items are shipped.
Limitation of Liability
Except as specifically stated on this site, neither Trust LED nor any of its directors, employees or other representatives will be liable for damages arising out of or in connection with the use of this site or products supplied. This is a comprehensive limitation of liability that applies to all damages of any kind, including (without limitation) compensatory, direct, indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, income or profit, loss of or damage to property and claims of third parties.
It is a crime to use a false name or a known invalid credit card to order. Anyone caught willfully entering an erroneous or fictitious order will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. We track the electronic fingerprints of every order placed on this website to enable us and all legitimate crime prevention and prosecution authorities to trace individual users engaging in criminal activities on our website.
Trust LED is providing this site and its contents on an “as is” basis and makes no representations or warranties of any kind with respect to this site or its contents. Trust LED disclaims all such representations and warranties, including for example warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. In addition, we do not represent or warrant that the information accessible via this site is accurate, complete or current.
Changes in Terms
Trust LED reserves the right to modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Any modification of these terms will be deemed to be effective from the date and time of posting on the Trust LED website.
What information we collect and how
The information we collect via www.trustled.co.uk may include:
- Any personal details you type in and submit, such as name, address, telephone numbers, email address, etc.
- Your IP address (the number identifying your computer) which is automatically logged by our web server. This is only used to register your visit to our website.
- Your choice and use of email updates, recorded by emails we send you (if you choose to receive email updates on products and offers as and when they may occur).
- Information stored in cookies, these do not include any personal information and are used to ensure the correct data is provided by the database when dealing with your orders.
WE WILL NOT HOLD sensitive payment details such as your card number, expiry date and security code. For the peace of mind of our customers and to meet our legal obligations all transactions are handled through a secure credit card processing system (Paypal).
What we do with your information
We will handle the information collected from this website in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and all other applicable laws.
The information we collect will be used:
- To deal with your order, to provide after-sales service (we may pass your details to another organisation to supply/deliver products or services you have purchased and/or to provide after-sales service).
- To meet our legal obligations.
- In certain situations we may use your email address to send you information on our other products. In this scenario you will be provided with the option to opt in/out before proceeding with your purchase.
We will not pass your information to third parties. The only exception to this principal is for example the use of a bank by us to carry out credit card processing in a secure environment. We will not pass your details to third parties for marketing purposes
You can request that we update or remove your personal information by getting in touch with us via the Contact page form or by writing a letter to us. Please note that there may be circumstances where we need to maintain some personal data in order to deal with orders or to meet customer service requirements.
You also have the right to request a copy of any personal information we hold about you. An administration charge may apply.
TrustLED believes in providing an excellent service, including if you find the product is not as you expected. Our policies are as follows, further information is outlined below:
- Faulty products or incorrect items received can be returned under the terms of our returns policy.
- Orders placed in error can be returned to us for a credit, and will only be accepted provided the item has not been opened and the packaging is in as good as new condition.
- We will refund postage based on a Recorded Delivery for a faulty item only.
When making a return, please enclose a covering letter with your name, address, telephone number, a postal receipt (if applicable to receive a postal refund), the issue(s) and the desired action i.e. replacement, credit or a refund.
Please be sure to read all the terms and conditions below prior to processing a return.
Within 14 days of delivery we will always offer you the choice of an exchange or refund (excluding postage).
Within 5 years of delivery, if there is a fault with your product we will normally offer a prompt repair, exchange or credit (credit to include original postage).
To qualify for a refund or exchange the faulty product must be free of faults caused by accident, neglect, misuse or normal wear and tear.
We test every item returned to us, once received it will be inspected and tested by our test centre. A replacement will be authorised should a fault be found.
In the event of a replacement not being available an alternative product will be offered or a credit note issued, in certain circumstances a full refund will be offered.
If no fault can be found by our test centre, the item will be returned to you.
If any item arrives damaged please contact our customer service team within 14 days of delivery for a replacement order.
Items not claimed as damaged after this period may not be authorised for replacement.
Non faulty products
If we send you an incorrect item, or an incorrect amount, TrustLED shall have no liability to you unless you contact our customer service team within 7 days of receipt for a Returns Authorisation
If you notify a problem to TrustLED under this condition, our only obligation will be, at its option: – to make good any shortage, mispick or non-delivery; or to refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question to the original method of payment.
TrustLED will not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of any problem you notify to TrustLED under this condition and TrustLED shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation other than to refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question.
Nothing in this condition is, however, intended to limit any rights you might have as a consumer neither under the applicable local law that may not be excluded nor in any way to exclude or limit our liability to you for any death or personal injury resulting from its negligence.
All goods returned will be inspected for damage and authenticity upon receipt. If TrustLED discovers any defects, we reserve the right to refuse to refund or replace and return the item(s) to you.
If you no longer want your purchase and it remains unopened and unused, you can arrange to return it to us within 14 days of receipt for a refund. Please be aware that we will not refund your postage costs, as there is no error on our part.
Please note: Any goods returned must be in their original packaging or a surcharge of 10% will be issued.
